BIOGRAPHY
Shoko began Classical Ballet from 5 years old in Fukuoka[Japan] and took many workshops by teacher coming from around the world(of Vaganova, Royal Ballet and other styles in Ballet). She graduated from “Showa university of music Short-term undergraduate Ballet course” in Kanagawa and danced a lot of Classical program including Balanchine program.and had Short-term training abroad at Royal Academy of Dance in London. Shoko joined “Noism2” in Niigata [2011-2014]. Noism is a Contemporary Dance Company only Residential in Japan. She had a lot of performances in various places and they were choreographed by well known choreographers such as Jo Kanamori, Yuki Yamada, Yoshifumi Inao. She also appeared at ‘Seiji Ozawa(world-famous conductors) musical festival ’ on the stage [Japan , Beijing ,Shanghai]. Now based in Fukuoka dancing for “SnC” (Contemporary Project Dance Company) and dance the choreography by Kyoshiro Oshima. Shoko is also teaching Classical Ballet, Contemporary and has choreographed some programs.
