Biography

Originally from Shizuoka, Japan, Miku holds a Masters in Creative Practice from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, in London, UK, and a BA in Dance, in which the main focus was contemporary dance and choreography, from the University of Calgary, in Alberta, Canada.
Since graduation, Miku has worked with Canadian and international contemporary dance artists; her work has been presented in Canada, Japan, the UK and Hong Kong. In addition, for the past few years, Miku has been working and collaborating with musicians and visual artists to create interdisciplinary projects in the UK and Japan.
