BIOGRAPHY
In 2004 I graduated from the dance academy in Tilburg as a modern dancer. Since than I made several site specific performances with my own group Tri-speelt. In 2008 I became full-time member of the “Warner and Consorten” team (with Warner van Wely founder of Dogtroep). A group of dancers, architects, musicians and builders. We created unexpected performances for unusual places and gave workshops. In 2009 Aardlek was born out of the same group of performers. Creating performances en workshop as a collective. Since 2013 I create my own work, performances in witch the audience and the location have an active roll. From community-art to city-development strategies research.
I also make installations and costumes for other performing artists. Several places I performed:
Warner and Consorten: International theatre festival, Teheran, Iran – Museum of modern art, Madrid, Spain – Dublin, Ireland. Aardlek: Linz, Austria, Oerol, Terschelling, Netherlands – International streettheatrefestival, London, England.
