THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR FOOD
(Premiere 2020. 4)
“There was no room food” is a piece with the critical view of the indiscriminate use of disposable products from the perspective of suffering animals. Spattered garbage becomes a residential space, and cuts in and out of the body are increasing day by day due to sharp plastic pieces, but animals slowly die without recognizing themselves. Rather than expressing direct pain, movements are expressed clearly with flexible movements, imagining animals living leisurely in familiar environments.
“I thought it was a pretty jellyfish. I swallowed it. It was called a ‘balloon’
“I was swimming. Suddenly something flew in and stuck in my face.”
“I had a stomachache for a long time. From one day on, I felt like a very small but vicious fish would pierce my stomach and shoot through my body at any moment.”
“I’m full.”
“The long pipe inserted in the nose managed to avoid the nerves behind the eyeball, but it seems to have touched the rolling brain. I’m starting to feel dizzy.”
“I fed the cubs delicious-looking food. But I keep hitting my head on the ground.”
